Wicked Good Cupcakes is now part of the Hickory Farms family of great-tasting gifts. Besides being a delicious treat, many of these cupcakes have a story. Get to know what flavor combinations each jar features, as well as what makes them unique.
Everyone loves Chocolate Lab! Wicked Good Cupcakes and its founders Tracey and Dani often donate to organizations that help animals, so the cute name along with rich ingredients seemed like a match made in dog and chocolate lover’s heaven.

The Wicked Good
This is our signature cupcake jar flavor and also Dani’s weakness. We literally had a cupcake intervention because the hypnotic pull of the peanut butter and rich chocolate ganache was proving to be too much for her. Beware!
The Wicked Good is crafted from peanut butter cake and chocolate chips baked to almost “cookie-like” perfection. It’s layered with peanut butter frosting and chocolate ganache. The cake has an almost crunchy cookie crumb.
Tracey’s favorite cake growing up was a vanilla wedding cake, so her mom always baked square birthday cakes using that recipe and frosted them with seafoam icing. “I can remember how excited I was smelling the cake baking and knowing my birthday would be here soon!” says Tracey.
Vanilla Birthday is a light and airy vanilla cake with Madagascar Bourbon vanilla cream cheese buttercream frosting, topped with rainbow sprinkles.
National (Security) Velvet
Did you know the original name of this red velvet cake was National Velvet because of Tracey's love of the classic movie? After the TSA confiscated one of these jars back in 2011, the name was promptly changed to National (Security) Velvet after Dani and Tracey were deemed a national security threat!
National (Security) Velvet is a traditional southern-style red velvet cake layered with homemade cream cheese buttercream frosting.
Cookies & Cream
This was a natural. After Tracy gave birth to Dani, all she ate for a month was Oreo cookies followed by a cold glass of milk. The “birth” of our shared business and our close bond lives on in this delicious cupcake jar flavor. It’s a must-try!
Cookies & Cream starts with vanilla cake loaded with chocolate sandwich cookie bits. It’s then layered with Madagascar Bourbon vanilla cream cheese buttercream frosting.
Sea Salted Caramel
This flavor came about in answer to a big request for it. It’ a good thing Tracey and Dani listened to their customers—this is one of the top 5 selling flavors!
Sea Salted Caramel is vanilla cake layered between drizzles of caramel sauce and sea salted cream cheese buttercream and caramel frosting, then topped with sprinkles.

This amazingly simple but decadent cake combo was a staple in Tracey’s household while her kids were growing up. They didn’t have a lot when the kids were small but always went all out for birthdays. There’s nothing like chocolate cake and frosting to make a day a truly special one!
Chocolate Birthday is moist chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese buttercream frosting topped with rainbow sprinkles.
“I hate to camp. I really do. But if I could just sit around the campfire for an hour and makes s’mores I could handle that. Now with this yummy jar I don’t have to. Thank God.” Tracey says. These feelings were her inspiration behind this delicious flavor.
