Summertime is synonymous with warm weather, getting together with friends, and enjoying refreshing beverages to beat the heat. Nothing chills you out in summer like a cool, fruity glass of sangria, especially enjoyed with friends hanging poolside or on the patio.

This crowd-pleasing summer staple is extra easy to make. Never made sangria before? We have three delicious recipes to help you get in the summer state of mind.

Sangria Basics

There are some basic steps you’ll want to follow when making all of these sangria recipes:

  1. Wash and cut fruit
  2. Add to a pitcher and lightly muddle the fruit
  3. Add wine
  4. Add simple syrup and alcohol
  5. Stir
  6. Chill for at least 4 hours
  7. Pour into glasses and garnish with more fruit if desired (Tip: spoon some fruit from the pitcher into the glasses before pouring so each glass has fruit. Also, there’s less chance of spills and splashes.)
  8. Enjoy!

Optional: You can add more liqueurs and top off your glass with sparkling water or juice if you want your drink to be bubbly.

Now that you’re familiar with the process, it’s time to choose the recipe that speaks to you! Here are three favorites created with our SunSol, Generosity, and Aunar wines.
