"The past 2 years had been rough on me. I have not been well and it has taken its financial toll on my career. My dear mother didn't want me to be alone during the holidays after having 2 surgeries in December so she traveled over 3,000 miles to be with me during my recovery. I was deeply moved by her love and compassion so I wanted to do something special for her. I ordered an assortment of fine cheese, tasty summer sausages, baklava, decadent petits fours, creamy fudge, pears sweet as honey, and delicious fruit cakes. Not only will my mother never forget my gratitude, but what arrived also made a wonderful treat for myself in celebration of overcoming adversity. When the delivery man showed up at our door my mother was astounded that I was able to find so many of her favorite treats. It is now mid-February and she is still mentioning to friends/family back home about all the goodies her son got for her in appreciation for her visit.
