Why it’s loved:
During the 1950's, Hickory Farms' founder Richard Ransom started selling Summer Sausage to complement the rich and creamy cheeses he had become known for at local county fairs. The combination of these flavors soon became renowned from coast-to-coast. Today we continue this great tradition with our Signature recipe. It's made with 100% premium grain fed beef, just the right amount of hickory smoke flavor, a hint of mustard and a dash of paprika, and today it’s rated the #1 Summer Sausage in America, by the American Masters of Taste.
