Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Lightly sprinkle salt & pepper on all sides of tenderloin & place in shallow baking pan. Melt butter & brush over entire roast. Bake for approximately 40 minutes for rare. When roast is done, cover loosely & let it stand for 15 minutes before slicing. Rare - 130 degrees, medium 150 degrees. We do not recommend well done.
